Association Between Sleepwalking in Children and Parental History of Sleepwalking
Children who had experienced sleepwalking were more than twice as likely to have parents who also experienced sleepwalking compared to children who had never sleepwalked, spanning the ages from 2 and a half to 13 years.
Similarly, the occurrence of sleepwalking in children was twice as high when either their mother or father had a history of sleepwalking.
