A collectivistic culture, commonly found in East Asian, Latin American, and African countries, emphasizes communal relationships with family, friends, and the community. Individuals from these cultures are less prone to the fundamental attribution error because their group-oriented focus provides a broader perspective. This viewpoint encourages consideration of both situational and cultural influences on behavior, leading to more nuanced explanations for the actions of others.
